Couples often spend weeks and months looking for the ‘right’ wedding venue. As planning a wedding means making decisions about every detail of how the day will look, from favours, to bunting, right down to the placecards etc. This couple were no different, they knew exactly what they wanted in terms of photography. So when we were asked to capture Louise and Paul's wedding, our pictures would definitely need to fit into their rustic/vintage/relaxed style. We love it when this happens because at times you have to change the way you work to suit each couple. Which to us means doing your research and working that little bit harder so your creativity can take over.
As a wedding venue the East Anglian Railway Museum in Colchester, Essex is everything Louise and Paul could hope for. It includes so many elements that could take you back to your childhood: a working mini railway, traditional ticket office and even a perfectly restored traditional train carriage.
It was an amazing day, and I know they've got a fantastic lifetime of happiness ahead of them in the future.
